Job summary

AbriCare is seeking a Community Outreach Specialist to drive referral growth across western St. Louis and surrounding Missouri communities. You will represent AbriCare in the field, develop partnerships, educate families, and generate new client opportunities through community-based outreach.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience in personal home care or home health, understand how families access in-home support, and can travel locally across St. Louis and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in community outreach, marketing, healthcare liaison work, or related role.
• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in communications, marketing, public health, or related field.
• Demonstrated experience building relationships in community or healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Represent AbriCare at senior events, health fairs, food pantries, and community gatherings.
• Build and maintain relationships with local referral sources: hospitals, social workers, AAAs, VA centers, and senior programs.
• Coordinate and participate in AbriCare-led events and support distribution of flyers and collateral.
• Educate community members about Missouri Medicaid personal care services and how AbriCare can help them get started.
