Job summary

Vulcan Elements is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to represent the Owner on a major manufacturing facility expansion delivered by a design-build GC. This contract engagement places you on site to monitor schedule, quality, and safety, ensuring alignment with project requirements and operations.

You will validate progress, review design and field performance, and support commissioning and turnover while maintaining close coordination with the GC and the Owner's operations and

Qualifications

• Experience representing an Owner on industrial construction projects.
• Familiarity with design-build delivery and single-point accountability.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls installations.
• Ability to hold the GC accountable to specs, schedule, and safety.
• Experience reviewing pay apps, change orders, and schedule impacts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee GC construction activities on site and monitor safety, quality, and progress.
• Review design development and construction execution against requirements.
• Track master schedule, validate claims, and flag risks to leadership.
• Conduct owner-side inspections and drive closure of non-conformances.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and handover activities.
