Job summary

GSK is seeking a Field Based Medical Science Liaison to execute the external engagement strategy across its therapeutic portfolio. This role will implement plans across the therapy area strategies, engaging External Experts and healthcare stakeholders in the field.

The position is hybrid with regular travel within Pennsylvania and West Virginia, requiring remote work from home when not visiting healthcare sites. A clinical background and experience in pharmacology are essential for success.

Qualifications

Doctor of Pharmacy, Ph.D., or MD with a clinical focus.
2+ years' pharmacology/pharmacotherapy experience in humans.

Responsibilities

Identify External Experts, professional groups, decision makers and stakeholders in the therapy area or geography.
Respond to information requests from healthcare professionals, ensuring factual, fair, balanced, and compliant medical information.
Disseminate safety information to healthcare professionals and conduct scientific exchange for labeled medicines.
Maintain expertise in evolving scientific/therapeutic areas and competitor medicines.
Attend regional account planning and training sessions, contributing to medical discussions.
