Job summary

UnitedHealthcare is hiring a field-based health services professional to assess and plan person-centered care, connecting members with vital resources and coordinating across providers. This role requires a Texas RN license, 2+ years in community health, and ability to travel within Bexar County and surroundings.

Remote work flexibility is available within commuting distance and strong internet access is required.

Qualifications

  • Current unrestricted Texas RN license
  • 2+ years of experience in a community health or healthcare setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel within assigned territory
  • High-speed internet at residence
  • Experience with Medicaid, LTSS, or long-term care services
  • Knowledge of HCBS and integrated care principles
  • Knowledge of most integrated settings, including federal/state requirements like HCBS
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

If you are in the Bexar County, TX area, including surrounding communities within commuting distance, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities

Schedule

Monday - Friday standard business hours

Required Qualifications
  • Current unrestricted Texas RN license
  • 2+ years of experience in a community health or healthcare setting
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel within assigned territory
  • High-speed internet at residence
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Medicaid, LTSS, or long-term care services
  • Knowledge of HCBS and integrated care principles
  • Knowledge of the principles of most integrated settings, including federal and State requirements like the federal home and community-based settings regulations
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
