Job summary

BURNCO Colorado LLC in Kiowa, CO is seeking an experienced Field Mechanic to maintain and repair ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, and support safety and reliability in a dynamic shop environment.

This full-time, on-site role requires basic tools, the ability to work in a team, and clear communication with shop leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of truck mechanic experience.
• Solid understanding of truck mechanics and maintenance practices.
• Must supply personal tools up to ¾-inch drive.
• Experience with concrete mixers and aggregate haul trucks is a plus.
• Must read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair trucks and equipment per specifications.
• Inspect machines, identify malfunctions and determine repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems for optimal performance.
• Communicate repair updates with shop leadership.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance on service vehicles.
• Operate service trucks and provide on-site support as needed.
• Weld, repair, and fabricate metal parts when required.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
