Job summary

Labcorp Genetics and Women's Health (GWH) is seeking a field-based Genetic Counselor serving as a scientific and clinical expert for rare diseases, with emphasis on cardiology and neurology. The MSL will engage KOLs, HCPs and academic centers through education and one-on-one interactions, with travel in the central region.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Genetic Counseling, ABGC certification, and 2+ years of clinical genetic counseling experience, including rare diseases.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics required.
• ABGC certification required.
• 2+ years clinical genetic counseling experience, including rare diseases.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between Labcorp and high level KOLs to develop strategic relationships.
• Educate field sales and internal teams on Labcorp rare disease products across panels.
• Collaborate with payers and professional organizations to describe product usage and coverage.
• Attend scientific conferences and prepare meeting summaries for leadership and marketing.
