Job summary

ACE Glass Construction Corporation is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead safety across our construction, fabrication, transportation, and office operations. The role focuses on building a strong safety culture, reducing risk, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on safety leader, comfortable in the field, able to communicate with employees at all levels, and translate safety requirements into practical actions on active jobsites.

Qualifications

• Significant construction or industrial safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and hazards.
• Experience conducting safety inspections and investigations.
• Ability to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with field employees, supervisors, and leadership.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly between facilities and jobsites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve safety program across operations.
• Maintain regular presence at jobsites and facilities.
• Conduct inspections, identify hazards, track corrective actions.
• Coach project managers, superintendents, foremen, and staff on safe work practices.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and safety records.
• Support safety planning for projects (JHAs, AHAs, fall protection, lift plans).
• Lead or support investigations of injuries, near misses, incidents.
• Develop and deliver employee safety training and orientation.
• Monitor safety performance and report to leadership.
• Support fleet, driver, vehicle, and equipment safety programs.
