Job summary

Siemens AG is seeking a Traveling Building Automation Systems Specialist for the Southeast region in the United States. The role involves centralized control of building HVAC, lighting, and other systems via a BAS, with 75% travel and on-site work across multiple southeastern states.

You will start up and commission BAS, coordinate with supervisors and mentors, document progress, and ensure projects stay on schedule. Strong English communication and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Electro-mechanical experience and PC/software skills.
• Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
• Willing to work in varied conditions, including travel up to 75%.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be 21+ with US work authorization.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building automation system startup and commissioning.
• Collaborate with team; report to Supervisor and Lead Technician.
• Document commissioning details; communicate deficiencies.
• Plan work with mentor and Team Leader; meet schedules.
• Submit accurate daily timekeeping and weekly expenses.
• Able to travel out of state overnight.
