Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience performing backflow testing and repair services.
Current Backflow Device Tester certification (AWWA or ABPA)
Current California D1 Water Distribution Operator certification or higher
Current Recycled Water Site Supervisor certification
Credentials meeting contract requirements to work in San Diego County before starting
Ability to meet military installation access requirements

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled backflow testing and document results.
Diagnose deficiencies, repair devices, and retest after repairs.
Follow manufacturer instructions and testing procedures.
Report failed devices and required repairs promptly.
Complete certification forms, work orders, and photographs.
