Job summary

CCMS & Associates seeks 1099 Auto & Heavy Equipment Appraisers to perform field inspections and write detailed CCC One estimates for auto and heavy equipment claims. Qualified candidates have at least 1 year of appraisal experience and a PA Auto Appraiser License, with the ability to travel to inspection sites.

As an independent contractor, you will deliver accurate reports, maintain communication with adjusters and insurers, and ensure compliance with carrier guidelines while working remotely

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of auto/heavy equipment appraisal experience.
• Valid Pennsylvania Auto Appraiser License.
• CCC One subscription and ability to write estimates in CCC One.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and a computer with internet access.
• Strong understanding of insurance policies and claim processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and appraisals of autos, trucks, construction equipment, and specialty vehicles.
• Prepare accurate, detailed estimates using CCC One.
• Evaluate repair costs, total loss, and salvage values per carrier guidelines.
• Communicate with adjusters, insurers, and repair facilities to ensure smooth claims.
• Maintain professional interactions with policyholders and industry partners.
• Remain an independent contractor while meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Submit comprehensive reports on time and in compliance with client standards.
