Job summary

NYWDS is urgently seeking a New York State registered architect to join a field inspections team for NYC public schools in Brooklyn and Queens. The role involves visual inspections and using in-house apps on company-provided iPads to generate daily reports.

Qualifications

• New York State Licensed Architect with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience using iPad-based inspection app.
• Familiarity with ADA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of school buildings and systems using company apps on iPad.
• Generate daily reports on building conditions.
• Obtain building data on completed improvements from school staff.
• Mark locations of deficiencies on diagrams.
• Verify accurate building size and damage quantities.
• Arrive at 8:30am for inspections, rain or shine.
