Job summary

Vision Government Solutions is hiring full-time Field Appraisers in the Colchester, VT area to inspect, verify and record property details for valuation. You must be dependable, have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable working outdoors while traveling to sites daily.

No prior experience required, with on-site training provided. We offer mileage reimbursement, medical/dental/vision and 401(k) with company match, plus vacation, sick and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and kneel during property inspections.
• Ability to climb stairs and carry 5–10 lbs of equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all seasons.
• Able to work a 40-hour work week.
• Real estate training and mail carrier/delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, verify, and record details of commercial and residential properties for valuation.
• Travel to sites and interact professionally with the public during visits.
• Document findings accurately to support property assessments.

About You

• 18 years and older
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, as well as bend, stretch and kneel as required during property inspections
• Ability to climb stairs and carry 5-10 lbs of equipment
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods of time, in all seasons/weather
• Effective verbal communication; the ability to put at ease members of the public who ask questions regarding a property visit
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week

Real estate training and mail carrier/delivery experience is a plus.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Compensation:

• Pay Range $19 - $25

Work Location:

• On the Road daily, Colchester, VT region
