Job summary

Roche is seeking a Field Applications Specialist in the United States for a field-based role, primarily serving New York/Long Island with national scope. You will implement Roche Tissue instrumentation, train customers, and provide ongoing advisory support to optimize workflows and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, IT, Chemistry, Biology or Clinical Laboratory or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory, IT products, medical diagnostic equipment, reagents and/or systems.
• Strong ability to learn Roche solutions across histology and discovery fields; effective written and verbal communication; project management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison during implementation and provide histology application support and customer training.
• Deliver on-site advisory support for Roche Tissue instrumentation and tailored training based on customer needs.
• Advise on customer issues and drive efficiencies and optimization for customer and Roche.
• Identify opportunities for new system consumables and drive additional revenue.
• Perform duties remotely and independently with independent judgment.
• Maintain quality systems and ensure adherence to quality objectives; attend to travel as required.
