Texas Instruments offers a structured Field Applications Engineer (FAE) track through the FAST program, a 12-month experience with three rotations across Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and BU/SEM. Participants become TI experts, collaborating with design engineers and internal teams to deliver system-level solutions.

Croped rotations emphasize customer-facing problem solving, design trade-offs, and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, soldering and debugging skills is preferred.
Programming skills in C/C++ (LabVIEW recommended).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in teams and collaborate across functions.
Strong time management for on-time project delivery.
Ability to build lasting relationships inside and outside the organization.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Responsibilities

Using various sales tools and relationships with design engineering to identify all potential projects.
Providing customers with proactive proposals for complete, system-level solutions that maximize TI content.
Using broad technical expertise to influence customers' part selection process while favorably positioning TI versus competition.
