Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an Field Applications Engineer (FAE) Intern to become a broad technical TI expert and assist in product selection, system implementation and debugging. You will work with customer engineers and internal teams to prepare for a career as a Field Applications Engineer.

Responsibilities include identifying projects, proposing complete system solutions, and guiding part selection while showcasing TI strengths in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering or related field.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• Basic understanding of schematics, layouts and digital components.
• Knowledge of analog circuitry (op-amps, DC/DC, data converters, sensing, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Using sales tools and design engineering relationships to identify projects.
• Provide customers with proactive proposals for complete system-level solutions.
• Influence customers' part selection and position TI favorably.
