Phoenix Contact is seeking a Field Application Engineer to provide hands-on technical support for cabinet efficiency products in the industrial automation sector. You will collaborate with regional sales teams and act as the local technical representative, driving sales growth and market penetration across Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.
The role requires independent work from a home office, strong communication, and the ability to travel as needed to support customers and campaigns.
Job Summary
The Field Application Engineer (FAE) will provide technical, hands‑on expertise to support all business opportunities for Phoenix Contact products and applications directly associated with the marking and installation portfolio used within the industrial automation and electronics industry. The FAE will collaborate with regional sales managers, strategic account managers, sales engineers, account development specialists, channel, and field application engineering teams, utilizing a consultative approach with all customers to support their individual needs and expand market penetration. This role plays a pivotal part in the development and expansion of all accounts, through cabinet efficiency sales growth and specifications. This position is an individual contributor role and does not include formal people‑management responsibilities.
The territory for this role is Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and Iowa.
