Job summary

We are seeking a 1099 Residential or Commercial Field Adjuster in Oregon to handle on-site inspections, loss reports, and client communications. You will utilize Xactimate (Cotality a plus) and submit initial captions and reserve recommendations after investigations.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of first-party property adjusting experience, hold an Oregon adjuster license, and be proficient with Word and internet-enabled tools. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year first-party commercial and/or residential property adjusting experience.
• Maintain own estimating software – Xactimate preferred (Cotality a plus).
• Working computer with internet access and Microsoft Word.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Experience in preparing Statement of Loss, Proof of Loss, and denial letters.
• Oregon state adjusters license.

Responsibilities

• Complete residential and commercial field property inspections utilizing Xactimate software.
• Investigate claims by obtaining recorded statements and interviewing officials as well as inspecting claimed damages.
• Recommend claim reserves based on investigation, through well-supported reserve report.
• Obtain and interpret official reports.
• Review applicable coverage forms and endorsements; provide a thorough analysis of coverage and issues in a well-documented initial captioned report to the client.
• Maintain acceptable product quality through compliance with established best practices.
