Job Summary

Exceeds sales and profit targets in a designated territory by implementing sales and marketing programs and establishing both short and long-term sales strategies. Drives growth by securing profitable new accounts through industry research, networking, and proactive prospecting. This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle, with operation done more than 50% of the work week. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report is required.

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Business-to-Business sales experience, including using sales techniques such as Consultative or Solution-Based Selling.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.
Responsibilities
  • Manage sales and customer retention initiatives to enhance sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction, including planning, forecasting, and reporting of sales activities.
  • Develop a strategic sales call schedule and conduct face-to-face customer visits to identify opportunities and promote solutions.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified accounts to meet or exceed sales and margin goals using CRM tools.
  • Focus on new account development through cold calling and territory growth strategies.
  • Implement sales strategies to meet targets and build customer relationships, maintaining industry-specific knowledge.
  • Utilize Salesforce for reporting and data analysis to identify sales opportunities.
  • Review customer portfolio to identify underperforming accounts and take corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with inside sales to support growth.
Scope and Environment
  • Work involves problem-solving and decision-making under uncertainty, with limited supervision.
  • May oversee project completion and contribute to professional development.
  • Work environment is primarily indoor, with minimal travel (<10% overnight).
Qualifications
  • Typically requires a BS/BA with 5-8 years of related experience or an MS/MA with 3-5 years of experience. Certification may be required.
