Job summary

Takeda in the United States seeks a Field Access Manager on the Patient Access team to help patients gain access to therapies across Takeda’s portfolio. You will partner with providers and institutions to address reimbursement barriers and support timely therapy initiation and continuation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 5+ years field-based experience in account management, sales or medical affairs.
• Strong knowledge of the reimbursement landscape and practice management environment.
• Ability to develop and execute account-based strategies to drive access outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Expertise in account management, relationship development, and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Patient Access by navigating reimbursement and access challenges for patients and providers.
• Deliver tailored, field-based education on reimbursement processes to key accounts, including providers, hospitals, academic institutions, and specialty pharmacies.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with healthcare organizations to resolve reimbursement and access issues for seamless therapy initiation and continuation.
• Educate internal teams to address complex reimbursement and access scenarios effectively.
• Stay informed on healthcare policies and reimbursement trends to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
