Job summary

ID3 Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Scenic Technician w/ Fiberglass to create custom scenic elements for trade shows, themed environments and live events. You will handle the full range of scenic shop work, including fabrication, sculpting, surface prep, finishing and assembly, with proven fiberglass spray-up and lay-up experience.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, building props, shaping foam, applying textures and textures, and coordinating with carpentry and paint leads.

Qualifications

• Hands-on scenic technician experience building dimensional elements
• Fiberglass spraying experience required; resin/gelcoat application
• Ability to read work orders and drawings and follow project specs
• Commitment to safety and proper protective equipment use

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble scenic structures, props and textured elements
• Interpret drawings and project specs to build to requirements
• Apply resin, gelcoat and fiberglass by spray-up or lay-up methods
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and coordinate with leads on installations
