Job summary

Latham, The Pool Company in Seminole, OK is hiring a Mold Maintenance Technician to keep fiberglass molds production-ready and capable of delivering high-quality shells. You will repair and alter molds, and assist in building new molds for product development and fleet expansion.

The role entails cosmetic/structural repairs, routine upkeep, and inspections to prevent defects, with on-site responsibilities and competitive benefits in a full-time capacity.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with power tools and pneumatic tools preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Autobody or fiberglass experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cosmetic and structural repairs on fiberglass molds, progressing from small surface repairs to large refurbishments.
• Perform routine mold upkeep.
• Clean, wax, buff, and prep fiberglass molds to maintain smooth, defect-free surfaces and ensure proper release during production.
• Maintain mold floor textures and gelcoat surfaces to preserve finish quality and prevent imperfections.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify cracks, delamination, wear, warping, or structural degradation.
