Job summary

Maverick Boat Group is seeking a Lamination Technician to apply fiberglass and resin to hull/deck molds. You will maneuver molds, prep parts, select materials, roll out laminate, spray chopped fiber with a pneumatic gun, and maintain a clean, safe work area.

This fast-paced role requires reading instructions, basic math, and the ability to stand for long hours, with required PPE and safety guidelines. A high school diploma or GED is expected; related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions.
• Basic math skills for measuring thickness and quantities.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move parts into correct position within lamination department.
• Prep parts according to Maverick Boat Group standards.
• Select fiberglass material according to part model.
• Roll out laminate, eliminating air bubbles using hand tools and rollers.
• Spray chopped fiberglass, resin and catalyst with a pneumatic spray gun.
• Maintain cleanliness and PPE compliance.
• Trim excess material and measure thickness with a mill gauge.
• Follow safety policies and hazardous material guidelines.
