Qualifications

• Fiber testing and troubleshooting experience required.
• Experience with OTDRs, power meters, light sources, fiber certification gear, and VFLs.
• Understanding of single-mode and multi-mode fiber systems.
• 1 year of Fiber/IT/Telecom experience or 5+ years field experience with relevant certs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of fiber optic tasks, including testing and splicing.
• OTDR testing, power meter tests, light source tests, and certification.
• Identify faults, test results, and document splicing records.
• Install, terminate, and test fiber cabling; troubleshoot impairments.
• Work across diverse environments and document project deliverables.
