Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is seeking a Lineman II Telecom in Midland, MI to install and maintain fiber and telecom lines safely, ensuring reliable service. You will work with hand and power tools, climb, and travel for storm response as needed.

Requires at least three years of Lineman experience, a valid driver's license, and authorization to work in the United States; CDL is required or willing to obtain it. High school diploma or GED; safety-focused with physical stamina.

Qualifications

• MUST have fiber/telecom installation and repair experience.
• Strong safety mindset and adherence to protocols.
• Ability to work well in a crew and support others.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair complex fiber/telecom cables and materials, promptly repair any issues to ensure efficient and reliable service
• Safely use hand tools and power tools like wrenches, drills, and saws
• Maintain safe work areas so that traffic flows smoothly while on the job
• Safely work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders
• Provide guidance and support to others as needed
• Be ready to travel for storm response on short notice
• Other duties as assigned
