Job summary

GridSource in Buffalo, MO is seeking Fiber Technicians to install, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed internet. A sign-on bonus of $2500 is offered.

Candidates must be fully equipped with a truck/van/SUV and a 28-foot fiberglass ladder with midspan hooks and a ladder rack. Responsibilities include residential fiber installation, safety compliance, assisting colleagues, promoting the company, supporting sales activities, and flexible hours.

GridSource iscurrently seeking Fiber TechniciansinBuffalo, MO.
Sign-On Bonus:$2500

Qualified candidates must be fully tooled and have a Truck, Van or SUV to carry a ladder.

A 28-foot Fiberglass Ladder with Midspan Hooks and V-rung is also required.

Fiber Installers are engaged with performing installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of high-speed internet. Also, the wiring and equipment of data and voice networks.

What you'll do:

• Perform Residential fiber installation
• Observe all safety rules and regulations
• Assist other technical personnel in the performance of their duties when requested

What you'll need:

• Must have experience in the field of Residential Fiber Installation.
• Technician must have their owntruck, van, or SUV with a ladder rack and 28’ fiberglass ladder with V-rung and mid-span hooks as well as all climbing equipment
• Technician must have their own tools to perform the job. An Android Smart phone is also a requirement.
• Technician must have some Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, and safety cones. Other PPE may be required by local management.
• Must be available to work flexible hours. Weekend work may be required.
• Must be able to pass Background and Drug screening.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Must be able to lift 75+ lbs. continuously.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and complete tasks assigned in a timely manner.
