This outdoor, hands-on role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance; you will coordinate with OSP teams and contractors to meet project timelines and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of telecommunications inside or outside plant experience with fiber optic installation, splicing, and testing.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and remain eligible for DOT requirements.
• Able to travel occasionally and work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate fiber fusion splicer, OTDR, and optical testers to splice and test fiber per standards.
• Install fiber enclosures and perform splicing, testing, and documentation for OSP projects.
• Coordinate with OSP teams and contractors to meet project timelines and outcomes.
• Maintain and document all project splices and test results for closeout.
