Job summary

Syntrio is seeking a Fiber Splicer to install, splice, test, and repair fiber optic cables for our telecom projects in the Vernon area. You will prepare cables, perform fusion and mechanical splicing, and verify connections to ensure reliable network performance.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, willingness to work evenings and weekends, and a High School Diploma or GED. Travel to multiple job sites and outdoor environments are expected, with safety standards strictly followed.

Job description

The Fiber Splicer is responsible for installing, splicing, testing, and repairing fiber optic cables used in telecommunications networks. This role includes preparing fiber cables, performing fusion and mechanical splicing, testing and troubleshooting network connections, and maintaining accurate records of work completed. The Fiber Splicer works in both indoor and outdoor environments, follows safety regulations, and collaborates with field technicians and project teams to ensure reliable network performance and service delivery.
