Position Overview
Our client is hiring Fiber Splicers to assist with a construction management project. Splicers will work underground to locate and splice fiber cable to enhance telecommunications and networking throughout the area.

Responsibilities
- Splice various types and sizes of fiber optic cable, including single-mode, multimode, stranded, and ribbon.
- Analyze and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Review, interpret, and work with maps, drawings, blueprints, and testing documents.
- Perform daily tests, checks, and maintenance on splicing and testing equipment.
- Conduct optical continuity and conformance testing.
- Make splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in buried, underground, aerial, and building work locations.
- Assist with termination cable.
- Run single-mode and multimode products.
- Test fiber optics and troubleshoot any issues.

Job Type & Location

Pay & Benefits
Pay range: $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
