Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Fiber Inspector to join a growing team. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on inspecting FTTH/FOB or long-haul fiber construction, worksite restoration, and subcontractor performance with attention to build quality.

The ideal candidate has strong wireline fiber construction experience, construction engineering knowledge, and the ability to read maps and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Strong fiber construction experience including FTTH/FOB or long-haul projects
• Wireline telecommunications experience required; no wireless experience
• Experience with construction engineering and reading utility maps, prints, and blueprints
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Inspect fiber construction and restoration work to ensure quality and contract compliance
• Review utility maps and prints to identify underground utilities and sizes
• Operate electronic detection equipment to locate and mark underground facilities accurately
• Coordinate daily with subcontractors for job follow-up and field activity
• Communicate with crews, safety teams, and field management to resolve issues
• Support customer/homeowner issue resolution and maintain documentation of field activities
