Overview

🔌 Fiber Optics Technician – Low Voltage (Inside Plant). We are looking for a Low Voltage Technician with expertise in fiber optics to join a high-performing team working on cutting-edge infrastructure in hyperscale data centers.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Installing and terminating single-mode fiber optic cabling
• Routing fiber through Chatsworth ladder racks and structured pathways
• Conducting tests with EXFO OTDRs and Fluke Networks tools
• Performing clean, labeled patching to meet strict data center standards
• Reading construction drawings and installation plans
• Documenting test results and cable routing with precision
• Following safety protocols and maintaining compliance

What You Bring

• Solid experience in fiber optic cabling and testing
• Familiarity with BICSI, TIA, and mission-critical environments
• Detail-oriented approach to cable dressing and labeling
• Ability to work independently or in a fast-paced team setting
• OSHA 10/30 and BICSI Installer certifications are a plus
