Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Fiber Technician for its Memphis data center. You will install and maintain critical fiber optic networks, work hands-on onsite with a focused team, and contribute to reliable connectivity that supports SpaceXAI’s AI-driven mission.

The role requires 1+ years in data center fiber work, a high school diploma, and strong communication and safety practices. Lifting up to 35lbs and travel within the site may be necessary.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of data center fiber installation experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of datacenter installation projects under supervision.
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Develop sensor indicators and inspections to protect fiber performance.
• Troubleshoot, repair and install fiber optic systems to ensure proper operation.
• Examine and replace faulty or aging fiber cables.
• Organize scheduled maintenance routines.
• Handle fiber splicing and address problem areas.
• Monitor signal strength across devices.
• Document system designs and keep records up to date.
