Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
  • 2–5 years in fiber optics, connector tech or precision manufacturing.
  • Experience with process development, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Reading engineering drawings and tolerances required.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize fiber optic connector assembly and termination processes.
  • Plan, execute and analyze design of experiments for process changes.
  • Assess process capability and variation impacting quality.
  • Support root-cause analysis for manufacturing issues.
  • Create process maps, work instructions, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
