Job summary

Badger Telecom is seeking motivated individuals and crews to perform fiber and telephone drop bury work across San Antonio, Uvalde, Eagle Pass, Laredo, and surrounding communities. This is a contractor- 1099 opportunity.

Experience is preferred but not required; we welcome hardworking applicants eager to learn and build a career in telecommunications. Training opportunities and consistent project work are offered in a fast-growing company.

Qualifications

• Effective communication with leadership and team members.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and digging equipment.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Basic customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in telecommunications, fiber pulling, construction, or utility work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install fiber and telephone service lines at 6 inch depths.
• Perform drop bury operations in residential and commercial areas.
• Dig trenches and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Complete basic fiber splicing tasks.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Interact professionally with customers and property owners.
• Follow project specifications and company procedures.
