TDS Telecommunications Corporation is seeking an Associate Manager for Fiber Construction to lead field service construction teams and external contractors in assigned markets. You will drive capital projects and maintenance, ensuring timelines, safety, quality, and budget adherence while delivering premier customer service.

The role requires a strong leadership background, multi-tasking ability, and a track record of coaching teams through outages and high-pressure situations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) or 4+ years professional work experience.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• 3+ years in the telecom industry.
• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory role or equivalent leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities and personnel for construction and repair of OSP fiber networks to meet project timelines and budget.
• Provides leadership to direct team and other teams involved in OSP construction.
• Assists planning and execution of capital projects to ensure timely and cost-efficient completion.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies, processes, and procedures.
• Maintains good working relationships with adjacent teams and serves as the primary contact for market projects.
