Job summary

DDS Companies is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Aerial Lineman to install, repair, and maintain messenger strand and hardware across New York State. This role requires travel, outdoor work, and the ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience in aerial telecommunications.
• Proficient in fiber installations, pole transfers, and related construction tasks.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Perform delash and relash of fiber, wreck out and pole transfers, and aerial-to-underground conversions.
• Operate bucket/boom trucks and access confined spaces as needed.
• Pull coax and cable through duct, conduit, and splice; activate underground and aerial lines.
• Finalize projects with daily production sheets and verify levels after activation.
