Job summary

The Scale Collective in Marin County, California, is seeking a mid or senior level Interior Designer to work on high-end residential and commercial projects, with emphasis on sourcing furniture, lighting, art and accessories, and collaboration on client presentations.

The ideal candidate is organized, able to vision and manage parts of a project, and proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp/Rhino.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years’ experience
• Professional Degree in Interior Design or related field is preferred
• Be able to showcase finished work in your portfolio and discuss what your role was
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sheets, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop, Sketchup or Rhino
• Passionate, self-motivated designer, able to take direction easily and collaborative mindset
• Ability to work in a team and manage yourself, your time and be well organized
• Drivers license and transportation required

Responsibilities

• Working with design team to create and to prepare client presentations
• Sourcing furniture, lighting and fabrics and finishes
• Pricing out all selections, vendor correspondence, all sample requests and returns
• Updating and maintaining Furniture + IA plans in AutoCAD
• Assist with purchasing and invoicing for on behalf of project
• Creating, updating and Maintaining Elevations in CAD, including Rendered elevations
• Maintaining and managing project budgets and timelines and overall day to day project needs and expectations

The candidate should have design experience on high-end residential projects where he/she was involved in all phases of the interior design process. The ideal candidate would be a gifted designer who is organized and able to vision and manage parts of a project.

Salary/Benefits

The Scale Collective offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience. Holiday pay, sick time and a week off between Christmas and New Years, and Health & Transportation reimbursements.

Location

This is a hybrid position located in Marin County, California. Candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area strongly preferred. Will consider remote for the right candidates.
