NEW Cooperative is hiring at our Iowa location to support agronomy and grain operations. This role involves loading/unloading, operating fertilizer tender trucks, and transporting NH3 equipment with safety as a priority.

Candidates should have a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and a customer-service mindset. The position may require extended hours during peak season, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1-3 months of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must be able to interact and communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Possesses problem solving capability and understands operational processes.
• Willingness to work extended hours during the busy season.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading of products from vehicles based on work orders.
• Unloads and loads grain from trucks and wagons.
• Operate fertilizer tender trucks.
• Fill and transport NH3 equipment.
• Operate commercial application equipment as needed.
• Operate a semi-truck in the off-season or as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and equipment.
• Ensure grain quality and proper maintenance across location operations.
