Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Fertilizer Equipment Operator to assist the Fertilizer Manager in daily operations at our Osmond, NE location. You will safely operate the loader to blend fertilizer and assist in mixing, pouring, and loading activities.
This role requires high school education, English proficiency, and a valid U.S. driver's license. A safety-conscious mindset and reliability are essential in our warehouse/outdoor environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Familiarity with heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of safety equipment operations.
- Understanding of weights and measures, dry and liquid.
- Competent in basic math.
- Ability to operate equipment for extended periods.
- English reading/writing/speaking required.
- Spanish is a valuable skill at Helena.
- Valid U.S. drivers license required to drive company vehicle.
- Must meet legal age requirement.
Responsibilities
- Safe operation of articulating loader to blend dry fertilizer.
- Assist Fertilizer Manager with mixing and pouring of dry and liquid elements.
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of fertilizer facility.
- Assist with loading/unloading fertilizer trucks.
- Assist with inventory controls.
- Drive a Helena company vehicle.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal/external customers.
- Other duties as assigned by leader.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
- Follow company policies and procedures.

The Fertilizer Equipment Operator assists the Fertilizer Manager in daily operations.
- Safe operation of articulating loader used to blend dry fertilizer, mixing and pouring of dry and liquid elements for complete fertilizer blends.
- Assist the Fertilizer Manager with mixing and pouring of dry and liquid elements for complete fertilizer blends.
- Daily maintenance and cleaning of fertilizer facility.
- Assists with the loading and unloading of fertilizer trucks.
- Assists Fertilizer Manager with inventory controls.
- Required to drive a company vehicle.
- Provides excellent customer service to all internal and external customers.
- Other work-related duties as assigned by leader.

The work environment for this position is a warehouse/outdoor environment where the noise level is usually moderate to loud and occasionally very loud. In this position, you will work outdoors in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working in the warehouse, you will regularly work around moving equipment/mechanical parts and could be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock.
This position requires you to use your hands for many different tasks and to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand (8 hours a day or more), lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling (up to and including 50lbs or more), reaching overhead (up to and including 25lbs), climbing, gripping, grasping and twisting using hands and wrists, bending and stooping for long periods of time, working below knee levels for short periods of time and working above shoulder level for short periods .
