Job summary

Boston IVF in Portland, ME is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Women\'s Health program. The full-time (40 hour) position includes weekends and holiday rotation based on company needs.

The Nurse will educate fertility patients, coordinate care, document in the EMR, and support providers during in-office procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the treatment journey.

Qualifications

• Active RN license without limitations.
• BSN degree preferred.
• BCLS/ACLS/IV certification – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with coordination of care, management and treatment of fertility patients.
• Implements provider directives through management of diagnostic and clinical treatment plans.
• Provides care for assigned patients by applying EMR workflows and documenting thoroughly.
• Communicates test results and patient instructions to patients.
• Delivers patient education throughout the treatment journey and sets expectations.
• Maintains timely documentation of patient care in the EMR.
• Demonstrates skills to implement the plan of care and patient safety procedures.
• Provides emotional support and helps reduce patient anxiety, addressing concerns.
• Mentors peers and supports a collaborative team environment.
• Assists providers with in-office procedures as needed.
