Job summary

Columbia University Fertility Center in White Plains seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our fertility care team. You will provide direct patient care, perform baseline ultrasounds, assist in IVF cycles, and educate patients throughout their journeys.

You will collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team, review labs and imaging, order tests, and ensure adherence to clinic protocols and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN/DNP) from an accredited program.
• Three years of experience or more in nursing practice.
• Current NP license in the applicable state.
• National certification as an NP (WHNP/FNP/ANP).
• Current DEA license for prescribing medications (as required).
• Basic Life Support Certification for direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care to individuals undergoing treatment cycles.
• Partner with physician team to assess, diagnose and order/interprets tests.
• Work closely with clinical team to provide personalized care.
• Perform baseline and follow-up ultrasounds for timed intercourse, IUI and IVF cycles.
• Perform early pregnancy ultrasounds under attending supervision.
• Handle fertility-related medication orders in accordance with protocols.
• Review semen analysis and coordinate patient follow-up.
• Use EMR and task lists to complete patient visits and requests.
• Document all required information in EMR and provide patient education.
