Job summary

Klēn Space is seeking a hardworking individual for a part-time position in outdoor cleaning in New York City. Job description

Schedule

• Part‑time: 24 hours per week
• Work days: Sunday – Tuesday
• Day‑time shifts: 5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• Job site locations: Brooklyn
• Pay: $18.50 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive a truck around Manhattan and Brooklyn boroughs
• Perform litter pickup in outdoor common areas, piers, ferry landings, and sidewalks
• Perform window cleaning, wipe down railings, sweep sidewalks
• Remove and replace trash bags in trash cans
• Clean and maintain interior and exterior of city‑owned properties
• Follow company policies and quality standards
• Take before and after photos and perform shift reports
• Mandatory snow removal and possible overtime
• Graffiti removal and sticker removal
• Remove water from the landings
• Within 10 days of employment must be able to pass the TWIC background check

Minimum Qualifications

• Have a working phone that can download three mobile apps used to complete the job
• Be in good physical condition and health, without mental or physical disabilities or impairments that would interfere with performing the services or prevent you from walking your assigned route
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions (rain, snow, sleet, heat, cold)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Be age 18 or older
• Have at least 2 years of driving experience in New York City, a great safe driving record, and ability to pass a driving test
• Speak and read English
• Be able to work outdoors
• Have a NY ID
