Responsibilities

• Weigh and ticket incoming/outgoing loads using scale systems and software
• Create accurate and compliant transaction records
• Grade incoming scrap materials and monitor load quality
• Direct vehicle and foot traffic safely on and off the scale
• Process inspection tickets and assist with inventory control
• Maintain and monitor radiation detection systems
• Communicate with yard staff regarding incoming and outgoing materials; report discrepancies or quality concerns to management
• Follow site safety procedures and industry regulations

As a Scale Operator/Weighmaster, you’ll play an important role in our daily operations by accurately weighing, grading, and recording incoming and outgoing scrap metal materials. • PPE required; work environment may include loud noise levels
