CM Metals NJ LLC in Dover, NJ is hiring a Ferrous Grader/Material Picker to grade and select ferrous metals in our yard. The role involves identifying metals, operating skid steer and front loader, and assisting customers.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors in varying weather, lift moderately heavy items, and communicate effectively with the public. Training provided and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Identification and grading of all scrap metals
• Picking out material upgrades from ferrous piles
• Using skid steer and front loader
• Outdoors regardless of weather
• Good communication and people skills to interact with general public
• Some heavy lifting is involved
• Yard maintenance
• Safely guide customers in and out of yard

Responsibilities

• Identify and grade scrap metals in the ferrous department.
• Select appropriate material upgrades from ferrous piles.
• Operate skid steer and front loader as required.

• Communicate clearly with customers and staff.
• Assist with loading and unloading heavy items.

CM Metals NJ is a growing scrap metal recycling business serving the NJ/NY/Metropolitan region. We are currently looking for a hard working, motivated individual to fill a ferrous grader/picking position at our Dover, NJ yard. The position is for material grading/material picking in our ferrous department.
