Prairie AquaTech Manufacturing, LLC dba Houdek is seeking a Fermentation Specialist to join the Fermentation Team in Volga, SD. You will prepare sterile seed cultures, monitor culture growth, and ensure data integrity across logs and reports.

Reporting to the Fermentation Manager, you will operate production equipment, maintain SOPs, and support continuous learning to progress through tier levels while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• BS or AS/ diploma in a science or engineering field preferred.
• Experience with microbiology and aseptic technique preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to follow SOPs with precision and accuracy.
• Excellent time management and independent work habits.
• Basic laboratory safety knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Prepare sterile seed cultures from lab to production scale.
• Evaluate culture purity, growth, and quality in seed train.
• Operate equipment per instructions and monitor control systems.
