Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Manufacturing Lab Technician 2nd Shift in Illinois to support production of bacterial antigens. You will operate fermentors and downstream equipment, perform in-process testing, and maintain cGMP documentation while ensuring a safe and reliable manufacturing environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma with 4+ years of manufacturing experience, a scientific or business-related bachelor’s degree, and strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Four years of college with a bachelor’s degree in science or business administration, or four years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing environment; PC skills on Windows.
• Ability to document clearly using cGMP principles.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate fermentors, centrifuges, concentrators and filtration equipment.
• Perform routine in-process testing with pH meters, spectrophotometers, microscopes, and filter testers.
• Prepare media and support fermentation; autoclave equipment and media.
• Clean and sterilize tanks; maintain records per SOPs and cGMP.
• Handle materials with manual and powered equipment; perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in monthly safety trainings.
