Job summary

United Site Services seeks a Utility Technician to operate Class A/B/C vehicles and support site operations across multiple locations. The role emphasizes safe vehicle operation, routine servicing, and timely delivery of portable restrooms and related equipment.

You will perform pre/post-shift inspections, maintain logs, and follow routing plans while communicating with dispatch and site supervisors. Opportunities to lead on fence jobs may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conducts daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle inspections and reports deficiencies to the shop.
• Report improper operation, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operations Manager.
• Operates service truck to and from pre-designated work sites based on routing information.
• Services portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, and showers at various sites following guidelines.
• Notifies management of issues on backup routes assigned.
• Maintains truck logs per state and federal regulations.
• Follows all established safety rules and regulations.
• Operates flat bed truck to deliver or pickup portable units and related equipment.
• Updates tickets with delivery or pickup details.
• Operates fence truck and lead on fence jobs when assigned.
