Pulse Nursing at Home is seeking a dedicated Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker to join our Enfield team in the family home of a 9-year-old boy with complex care needs, including spina bifida. You will provide personal care, support daily living activities, and work with families and professionals to deliver person-centred care.

On-shift responsibilities include administering medications and supporting clinical interventions, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Caring, empathetic and patient by nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Right to work in the UK.
• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based).
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs (brain injuries, spinal injuries, physical disabilities, genetic and neurological conditions).

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting with their daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with our client, their families, and other professionals to deliver person-centred care and support.

In this role you will be supporting our 9 year old male within his family home, who is living with several complex care needs including spina bifida. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medication and managing our clients clinical interventions (all training will be provided). Please note that our clients family do have XL bully dogs on the property (kept outside on shift).
