Job summary

The Natrona County District Attorney's Office in Casper, Wyoming seeks an Assistant District Attorney to join its prosecution team. You will handle felony prosecutions from review through trial and sentencing, coordinating with law enforcement and staff to advance justice for the community.

Ideal candidates have 2–8 years of relevant legal experience, must be licensed in Wyoming, and demonstrate strong analytical, communication and litigation skills for a demanding caseload.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• 2–8 years of relevant legal experience.
• Active license to practice law in Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Prosecute felony cases from start to trial and sentencing.
• Review investigations and coordinate with law enforcement.
• Represent the State in jury and bench trials; negotiate with defense.
• Advise and supervise assigned legal support staff.
• Interact with crime victims and protect their rights.
