Job summary

Aoiassn is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Surgical Oncologist to join the Health First Cancer Institute in Melbourne, Florida. This role offers a unique chance to build and lead a new Surgical Oncology service line amidst a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

You will work alongside experienced Hematology/Oncology physicians and receive strong institutional support for program development. Ideal candidates will have fellowship training in Surgical Oncology, board certification in General Surgery, and demonstrate leadership potential.

Job description

Health First Medical Group is seeking a Fellowship-Trained Surgical Oncologist (BE/BC General Surgery) to join the Health First Cancer Institute in a high-impact, program-building role. This is a rare opportunity to help shape and grow a newly expanding Surgical Oncology service line within a leading integrated health system serving Florida's Space Coast.

This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly established team of 5 Hematology/Oncology physicians in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment supported by strong institutional investment, growing referral demand, and full administrative infrastructure.

CLINICAL FOCUS AREAS
  • Upper GI malignancies
  • Melanoma
  • Soft tissue sarcoma
PRACTICE MODEL & SURGICAL SUPPORT
  • 3 days operating room and procedural time
  • 2 days outpatient clinic
  • Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
  • Strong multidisciplinary collaboration with medical and radiation oncology
  • Integrated referral network within the Health First system
  • Opportunity to expand minimally invasive and robotic surgical oncology services
