Job summary

Apex Skin in Northeast Ohio is seeking a fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon to join our dermatologist-led practice. The surgeon will perform Mohs micrographic surgery and related procedures, evaluate patients, and collaborate with dermatologists and clinical staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

The ideal candidate shows strong surgical and clinical proficiency, commitment to excellence, and the ability to contribute to education, research, and ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency.
• Fellowship training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology.
• Board certified or board eligible in Dermatology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Ohio.
• Demonstrated surgical and clinical proficiency.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mohs micrographic surgery and related cutaneous surgical procedures.
• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care.
• Collaborate with referring dermatologists and members of the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide evidence-based care consistent with established clinical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality improvement, education, research, or other professional activities as appropriate.
